WARNING: Photo heavy!
Now, if you are a close friend of mine, you will know that I have gotten into makeup fairly recently. And you would also know that I am a sucker for Korean cosmetics and skincare shops and am a face pack/mask hoarder!
NOW IMAGINE MY HAPPINESS WHEN I FOUND OUT THAT THERE WAS A SHOP THAT SELLS THAT IN DUMAGUETE. YES. MY MANILA HEART IS BEATING MADLY FOR THIS SHOP.
Even though I don’t have spending money, I just couldn’t resist taking a look at the new store above Penshoppe, along Perdices Street (it’s walking distance from Lee Plaza, and very near McDonalds).
And once you’re through the doorway, up the stairs, and in past the door.. you get a whole lot of this:
See those little boxes and tubes behind the pink and green-tubed lip products? Those are CLIO Lipnicures. One of my close friends Chesra (whom I totally miss, btw) told me about them and I actually saw a seller of Lipnicures (along with other Korean cosmetics) at the last Trendsetters Bazaar at World Trade Center. I swatched them on my hand and OH MY. Once they dried, they wouldn’t budge. Seriously. Their staying power is amazing. No amount of rubbing or handwashing made a serious smudge or mark. You definitely need an oil-based remover to get these stubborn babies out. But that colour payoff, WOW! Seriously cool.
Now please enjoy these swatches featuring the lovely Sandara Park:
ONL does not only carry various Korean makeup and skincare brands such as CLIO, Peripera, Etude House, Tony Moly, Missha, and the like, but they actually have their own products as well. And from what the saleslady said, their products’ formulation do have a slight bit of medication, so they don’t just make you pretty, but they’re good for you too. Now how’s that for multipurpose?
Gah, I can’t wait to try out and review their products! *3*
ONL Today Dumaguete is located along Gov. Perdices St., Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, right above Penshoppe. Check them out on Facebook as well as their website, which is also their online shop!
If you can read Hangul (which I can’t), check out ONL Today’s official website!
DISCLAIMER: I am not in any way sponsored by ONL Dumaguete. I just really, really like Korean makeup and skincare, and Korean culture in general. Heehee. (Would be nice to be sponsored though. Ah. I am, admittedly, a frustrated beauty blogger!)
Again, the first two photos are from Nessie Marie of Shades and Highlights. ^^
Wow! I wish there were shops like this where I live! I hate having to wait 3-4 weeks for my Korean make-up to arrive 😦

Also, it’s always nice to swatch the testers before actually buying anything. I find it kinda tricky to order online based on swatches on models because they’re meant to look perfect and even-toned and all–

Yeah I know what you mean. I’m really pale so I struggle to find Korean foundation and BB creams suitable for my skin since I can’t swatch them. I just have to order them and hope for the best most of the time!

On the other hand, I find Korean BB creams too light for me!

Hi Margu! I don’t remember how much exactly but I checked their online site (www.merryluv.com) and their Clio Lipnicure costs Php980. For me it’s a little steep but if ever I buy this it won’t be used often; more on special occasions than for daily wear for me. 🙂

Hello Mar, thank you for the prompt reply. Wow, it’s really expensive! Hmmm you’re right for special occasion use only. Maybe I can go there this weekend. Thank you so much Mar. 🙂
