Inside The Pouch part 2 – One face, three different lipsticks.

This is somewhat of a companion post to my previous one, as so you can see what I look like when I’m not too lazy and actually use the products I’ve enumerated. ^^;

Quick recap:

Clockwise from the compact:

  • ZA Perfect Fit Two-Way Foundation in P020
  • K-Palette Økuma Concealer in Type 1
  • Etude House Rosy Tint Lips in #8 After Blossom
  • Majolica Majorca Brow & Lash Colorist in BR555 Maroon Brown
  • Marionnaud mini eyebrow razor/lash comb/ brow brush
  • Clio O’Tank Volume Mascara
  • Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in Anti-Oxidant Berry
  • Too Cool For School Lost Identity Lip Crayon in Lost in Hawaii
  • Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Whimsical

My “not feeling too much like a lazybutt” makeup regimen starts like this. Assume that I have already washed and cleansed my face properly. Other than that I don’t really put on any other skincare products like toner or emulsion or essence.

I can't guarantee that I look this presentable at all times when I have no makeup. Haha!

Note that I have fairly dark undereye circles (my panda patches, ehe), and the sides and under my nose are quite red.

Time for concealer! Yes, yes, I look funny. But then again, it’s always a good idea to map it out. I use a very small amount of my K-Palette concealer and it’s enough, really. So how much is a “small amount” for me?

Yes, I didn’t blend it out to my neck and chest because.. you know, lazybutt. XD But my face looks so nice and.. fairly even-toned. Buffing makes the finish even more natural, and for me, it gives a slight airbrushed look. I’ve also filled in my brows with brow powder, and brushed it with a bit of browcara (brow mascara, lol). I also don’t usually wear any cheek color, so there’s none here.  (Once in a while, I do use a light bronzer instead so I don’t look so sallow.)

Alright! Time to fill in those lips. ^^/

1. Too Cool For School Lost Identity Lip Crayon in Lost in Hawaii

Thank you, LINE Camera, for having adorable and quirky stickers in your Item Store.

Remember how it looks in the tube? (Click here!) Quite a bright orange, right? But as I mentioned in my ITP post, it becomes a creamsicle orange when applied. It’s quite a summery colour, but I think a nice orange lip can be worn anytime you need a pick-me-up. I know I need one (or ten) these days, especially since it’s midterm exam period for us!

2. Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Whimsical

When I wear Whimsical, I feel a little more.. sophisticated, I think. The burgundy colour isn’t exactly for day wear, but because it’s part of Revlon’s Colorburst lacquer balms, a single layer is sheer enough to be wearable even on lazy days. It’s also quite glittery, if you can see it in the photo. The downside to Whimsical is that when the colour wears off, the glitters still remain. Oh well..

3. Etude House Rosy Tint Lips in #8 After Blossom

I usually do gradient lips when I decided to whip out After Blossom. It’s a lovely rich red with a hint of pink. I neutralize my lips by putting on a bit of nude lipstick, or, in this case, a little bit of concealer. I then use a clean fingertip (in lieu of the Rosy Tint Lips’ sponge applicator, which can get kinda icky looking after frequent use) to dab on colour to my inner lips. I then blot my lips a bit before dabbing another thin layer of colour. Sometimes I’ll even dust a bit of powder on top just to set.

Oh, and for this look, I also brushed on my favorite mascara, Maybelline the COLOSSAL Volum’Express Mascara (Smoky Eyes) in Brown. I wish I had brought some of my lenses for an even more doll-eyed look!

And that’s it! Which look do you girls prefer? And which one would you like to try? 🙂
